Require a feature to send application specific alerts by email
The project will have 2 applications in the same production server. They need to have an ability to monitor the applications remotely from their monitoring tool. The current email subscription feature only allows the emails to be send by environment and score card types. They need to monitor their environment for application availability and application performance. If the following score card can be made available by email for each application would help meet customer's needs.
1. Long requestor time – This can indicate poor performance of an application for one or more users 2. New alert action item – This allows to identify new actions that are created against their applications and ensure the actions are completed in a timely manner. 3. Requestor Lock Exception – This can indicate an unresponsive application for one or more users
Please let us know when this feature can be made available in PDC.
Scorecard subscriptions do not include any provision for application at present.
It may be possible to enhance scorecards to add application when a scorecard will be generated from a specific alert/event that has 'current application' in the alert data. Presumably with new data on the email, you can route it appropriately
With regard to the three questions
1. Long requestor time
Platform detects a long running requestor and sends AES/PDC a stack trace. I don't think platform sends requestor context of the requestor, so AES/PDC don't know the application.
2. New alert action item
Should be possible to look up the alerts associated with the action item and check the 'application' of each alert. If multiple applications are related to one issue, would you want a list or simply "multiple"
3. Requestor Lock Exception – This can indicate an unresponsive application for one or more users
Will need to check if there is any requestor context in the PEGA0086 alert.
