Make sure your postgres service is running. 2. Connect to the DB and schemas using PgIII admin, if you have pgIII client installed. 3. Verify that the user name and password specified for the database, you are trying to connect is correct. 4. If still there is problem with the DB connection, please look at this link PostgreSQL: Documentation: 9.1: The pg_hba.conf File and make sure your network is allowed by checking the pg_hba.conf file, in the postgres server.Please follow the above steps to narrow down / rectify your issue.Let me know if this helps.Thanks,Gowrishankar.
