When working within a CPM case there is the ability to choose a local action to generate an outbound email. This action opens a email composer where name subject and content can be created. Has anyone created a way to add an attachment to this email either from a button on the rich text editor control (much as can be done with the control here ^) or via some other method?

The question is broader than that. Creating the control would be one potential method to address the uderlying issue. Ultimately the desired outsome is to be able to attach and email to outbound correspondence in an adhoc manner.
Thanks for the suggestion. We've brought the feedback item into consideration for an upcoming release of Pega Customer Service. It won't in all likelihood be part of our upcoming end of year release, but we'll look at this and see whether we can get it in for Summer '17.
