For example, from this link: https://www.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/release-notes/topics/cm_vd_cdh_package_tarball_512.html#cm_vd_cdh_package_tarball_512 I have downloaded the tarball, clearly Cloudera repackaged the jars for each version of CDH.
