Posted: 2 years agoFaizanFayaz PEGA replied to SHWETAVSINGHHello Shweta, You can achieve that using a URL which would invoke an activity directly and embed that URL in the link in correspondence. When the link is clicked, the URL launches the activity and you can customize the activity to create a work object after authenticating the user. Refer to the following links. They would be helpful. https://pdn.pega.com/community/product-support/question/create-work-act… https://pdn.pega.com/how-customize-directed-web-access#T3 Hope this helps. https://pdn.pega.com/how-customize-directed-web-access Posted: 2 years agoSHWETAVSINGH EAI Systems replied to SHWETAVSINGHBut tell me where i define that url in which i am calling an activity?? @FaizanFayaz Posted: 2 years agoFaizanFayaz PEGA replied to SHWETAVSINGHI think one way is to write a script where you define the url (something like www.xyz.com/pyActivity=?....) and define the on click events. Use this function on on click event of the link (run script action) , or alternatively use the action "Open url in window" action on click action and specify the activity in it.. Note-Make sure you check the "Allow direct invocation from the client or a service" checkbox on the security tab of the launching activity. Posted: 2 years agoFaizanFayaz PEGA replied to SHWETAVSINGHYou can refer to the attached screenshot. I used a custom control instead of link and I am calling the function in the code itself. You can call the function on click of the link. Regards, Faizan.
