Inbound email processing - Process inbound email to proceed the case in the flow
Hi,
I am trying to process the inbound email received using the activity pyCreateAndManageWorkFromEmail, i have learned that in order to process the workobject we need to have the information of the workobject in the inbound email, so i am using the subject of the email for that.
I am now stuck at the part where i need to proceed the case forward in the flow which is not happening. although i am giving the flow action name as parameter for this ootb activity.
Can somebody please help me with this ? I really could use as much as possible

PFA the params i am using for the ResumeFlow this is what i had used while trying with approach 2
The Usecase is that the workitem is diverted from the mainflow and a mail is sent to an external user. once the external user responds to the email the workitem is resent to the main flow.l.
So, while diverting i am sending the case into another flow and using a workbasket as a staging area until the inbound email is got.
Here i tried two things :
1. Using assignment shape and tried to use finish assignment in service activity of email service.
2. Using a wait shape and tried to use resume flow in the service activity of the email service.
I was trying to call finish assignment and the resume flow in the pyCreatePostAndWorkPartyFromEmail activity after step7 because this is where the final commit on the pyWorkPage was happening.
But neither of these worked.
The parameters for the pyCreateAndManageWorkFromEmail activity are flowType (a flow name) and organization.
Please provide more detail what you are attempting to do.
Are you pausing at a workbasket assignment and from that assignment having an SLA attempt to invoke the Resume Flow escalation activity?

ResumeFlow is meant to be called from an Assignment context such as an SLA escalation activity.
You can make it work from a Case context provided you establish a page named "newAssignPage" on the Clipboard corresponding to the Assignment from which you want to resume .
To instantiate newAssignPage supply the value of .pxFlow(param.flowName).pxAssignmentKey toObj-Open-By-Handle.

Can you share the configuration at "Resume Flow" step and the step page details?
And also the errors in the log?
