MultichannelCloseExpiredInteractions agent is not removingAuto-generated operators

The agent MultichannelCloseExpiredInteractions in Pega-ProcessEngine can be eanbled to handle expired interactions and remove operators.

I enabled it in our Test env by updating the Agent Schedule rule, but it is not deleting the auto-generated operators. It is only resolving the expired interactions. 

Am I missing anything here apart from enabling the agent? Please help.
